100 Instagram captions for Malaysia
Of all the countries I've sailed past and posted about, Malaysia is the one that hits different. Not because I need a caption to describe it, but because how do you caption home?
Turns out, quite well, actually.
Whether you're here for the food, the Twin Towers shot everyone's done, or just vibing somewhere between a rainforest and a mamak at midnight, Malaysia has a way of making every photo feel like it needs the perfect line to go with it.
I've written captions for countries like Vietnam, China, South Korea – places I docked at as crew. But Malaysia? This one I write as a local. Someone who grew up saying lah unironically.
So here's a collection of Malaysia captions for Instagram – for travellers passing through, the diaspora feeling a little homesick, and Malaysians who just want something better than "boleh lah".
It even includes a section in Malay, if you feel like showing your roots a little.
