200+ travel name ideas for businesses, blogs & more
Coming up with a name can be surprisingly difficult. You might know exactly what you're naming ā a travel business, blog, Instagram account, tour company, or travel group ā but finding one that feels right is another matter.
This list isn't just for businesses and blogs, either. If you're naming a personal travel journal, scrapbook, or keepsake project, you'll find ideas here too.
The names below are sorted by style and travel type. Most are starting points rather than finished names, and plenty use familiar travel-related words, so don't be afraid to swap one for something more personal. Sometimes all you need is the right word to get the ideas flowing.
I also went a little overboard collecting travel-related words, so if you're looking for more inspiration, you might like my list of words that mean travel.
And once you've found a few possibilities, I'll also share some tips on how to choose or create a travel name that feels right for you.
Whether you're starting a business, naming a blog, or just want a title for your own travel notes, I hope you find a travel name that gives you somewhere to start.

How to choose a travel name
Some tips to help you narrow down your options:
Keep it simple. Choose a name that's easy to spell, pronounce and remember. This is especially important for a travel business or agency, where customers may need to search for it or recommend it to someone else. For a blog, social media account or travel group, you can be a little more playful.
Know your audience. A luxury travel agency may call for a polished and sophisticated name, while a family travel blog, adventure business or friends' travel group can be more relaxed and fun. Let the name reflect the people and experience behind it.
Make it distinctive. Travel names naturally draw on words such as wander, journey, explore and adventure, so think about what could make yours feel more specific. You could use your name or initials, reference a meaningful place or interest, or combine words in an unexpected way.
Think about the future. If you're naming a travel business, choose something that can grow with you. A name tied too closely to one destination, service or travel style could become restrictive if you expand later.
Check before you commit. Many of the names in this list, or similar versions of them, may already be in use. Search for existing travel businesses, blogs and websites, and check the relevant domain name, social media handles and business-name availability before settling on one.
The best travel name isn't necessarily the cleverest or most unique. It's the one that's memorable, suits your brand identity and feels like a name you can keep using.
Find inspiration for microadventure ideas, from exploring your own city to finding natural escapes, following trails and more.
